About BridgeDummy
A bridge training platform built by competitive players, for competitive players
The Problem
You chose an opening lead against 3NT. Dummy comes down and you still don't know if it was right. Most practice can't answer that question - BridgeDummy can.
Our Origins
BridgeDummy was created by Nir Khutorsky, a member of the Israel Open Bridge Team - a competitive player who spent years looking for a better way to practice. I experienced firsthand how the gap between theory and practice holds players back, and I built BridgeDummy to be the training tool I wished existed when I was climbing the ranks.
Our Philosophy
Players improve fastest by making real decisions repeatedly. Every puzzle is a genuine bridge scenario with multiple reasonable options, graded by double-dummy analysis. This builds pattern recognition and judgment - not just convention knowledge.
Our Mission
We're building the platform we wished existed - where every practice session presents real decisions, gives immediate feedback graded against optimal play, and tracks your improvement over time.
Today BridgeDummy offers over 1,400 bridge puzzles across bidding and opening lead categories, five competitive training modes (puzzles, daily challenges, friend challenges, weekly leagues, and custom simulations), and both Matchpoints and IMP scoring formats - the same formats used in tournament bridge worldwide.
