September was our biggest month yet. Suit Combos has a daily challenge, BridgeDummy has its own forum, beginners get MiniBridge, all bidding practice lives in one room, and a new kind of puzzle is arriving where the whole auction is simulated. The smaller upgrades are listed at the end.
Daily Suit Combos and a New Review
Daily Suit Combos gives everyone the same five suit combinations each day. Play each one out card by card: make your target and you score up to 200 points, with the score dropping the longer you think. Finishers go on a daily leaderboard, and a win counts toward your daily stats. Three diamonds unlock all five combinations for the day.
The Suit Combos trainer got a new review too:
- Whole-line grading: your play is judged as a line, so an equally good order of plays is no longer marked wrong.
- Card-by-card replay: step through the deal and try what-if alternatives.
- Compare lines: see how your line and the best line do on the layouts that were still possible at each point, restricted choice included.
The Community Forum
BridgeDummy now has a Community forum, in English and Hebrew, with spaces for Bridge Discussion, Help & Q&A, Ideas, Bug Reports, and general chat. Post hands and auctions right in a thread, vote, reply, and follow the threads you care about.
Every puzzle now has its own discussion too: open it from the results screen after you answer. Discussed puzzles show up under Recent discussions on the home page and in Community. Open one and you solve the puzzle first, then read what everyone else thought.
MiniBridge for Beginners
MiniBridge is bridge without the bidding: the side with more high-card points declares, dummy goes face up, and you learn card play from the first hand. A 10-lesson course gets a complete beginner to a real hand in about five minutes, in English or Hebrew.
After the lessons, play solo, open a private table for friends, or join a quick game with other learners. Teachers can run a classroom session and move the whole class to the next board together.

One Bidding Room
All bidding practice now lives in one place, the Bidding Room, with three tabs: Solo (free practice deals), With partner (bid eight boards at your own pace with your real partner) and 2v2 Match (you and your partner against another pair on the same boards, compared in IMPs).
After a partnership table, you now see how your results compare with every other pair who bid the same boards, and with your friends who played them. Boards are also graded against every contract the opponents could have bought the hand in, not only your side's contracts.
New Puzzles: Simulated Auctions
Until now every lead and bidding puzzle started from an auction written by hand. A new kind of puzzle starts from a random deal instead: the whole auction is bid by a computer bidding system (2/1 Game Force), and the hidden hands are dealt hundreds of times, keeping only deals where every call fits that auction. You will find them in the daily challenge, marked with a Simulated auction tag. Tap the tag to see how the puzzle works.
What changes for you:
- Bidding goes on after your call: in a simulated bidding puzzle, partner and the opponents keep bidding after your choice, on every deal. Pass does not always end the auction, and your call is scored on the contract the auction actually reached.
- Where the auction ends: the results show where each call led, for example how often a raise ended in game and how often the opponents competed.
- Alerts: artificial calls carry a short explanation. Hover or tap the call in the auction to read it.
- Typical shapes: the hand information shows the typical range for each player from the dealt hands, not strict limits.
- More variety: in lead puzzles the dealer and vulnerability change from puzzle to puzzle, so the auctions look like the ones you meet at the table.
More New Things
- My Hands: save any puzzle result or shared hand to your personal library, with your own title, notes and tags.
- Friends online: see which of your friends are online right now.
- Shared simulations open as puzzles: a simulation link now opens as a real puzzle, with stars, sample hands and the auction when the sharer added it.
- What Should I Bid: now goes step by step and shows the meaning of each call.
- Analyzer: analyze a deal in the middle of play, for the tricks that remain.
- Puzzle Rush: fairer strikes. Only answers of 3 stars or fewer strike, and your first three 4-star answers in a run are free.
- Daily challenge: a "how it works" button, a what-next block when you finish, and player profiles one tap away from the leaderboards.
- Sunday review: a weekly chip on the home page brings back the puzzles you missed.
- Reminders: in the app, daily challenge and weekly league reminders now arrive at a sensible local time.
- Past puzzles: browse the archive of featured puzzles with their answers.
